Well the end of the world can come now, My husband, Phoenix has created a homepage. If you'd like to see it, it's Right in the Bahoogies I will be linking him with my other links in a few minutes. I went to a Vamp Larp in Downtown Indy last night after the Wraith game and was saddened to notice the outragious twinking that ran rampant in the game, and then of course also the fact that frankly there is no Masquerade. We walked down the canal path and found the group within 5 minutes, there was absolutely no question that these were gamers, and that was without seeing a single challenge, a single game book or even hearing a single spoken word. We were told that we could only play ghouls because they had a clan cap, gen cap, and influence cap in place, Whatever, I saw at least 5 ghouls playing and that's a worse breach of the game masquerade than having one too many Gangrel. We left. We left talking with such pride about our game since we don't have wimpy ST's that give us easy outs like *I'm using my police influence right now to prevent the police from coming down here, is that cool?* and the reply *Sure, no police will be here tonite* Ha! That and when a character up on a raised mesanine said to the crowd below, *Hey I am screaming at the top of my lungs right now* and Not ONE single character reacted to that information at all. If I ever in my life ever said anything rude or mean about the Whispers staff, players, roleplaying or game site, I take it all back right now, because trust me, there are no public bathrooms on the canal walk in downtown Indy at Midnight. |
